Publicado un análisis de viabilidad de las biorrefinerias agroalimentarias andaluzas
The NATAC business group, dedicated to research, develop, manufacture and selling ingredients of natural origin for its application as food supplements, animal feeding and other markets has prepared the document "Viability analysis of Andalusian agri-food biorefineries", which has been conceived as an analysis tool to promote the viability of this type of industry, as well as a theoretical-practical study applicable to industrial projects that use other biomass and other sectors. This analysis is one of the actions conceived in the Andalusian Circular Bioeconomy Strategy.
The document includes an analysis of the availability of biomass, in addition to the market. "The viability of the proposed model largely depends on the correct choice of those bioproducts considered key or priority," the report states. In obtaining these bioproducts, the choice of the necessary technology is also important.
In this analysis, the formation of strategic alliances between different industrial operators is also pointed out as a key factor. It is committed to promoting communication and collaboration between agents with complementary knowledge, both in research, development and technology, as well as industrial and market knowledge to which the generated products are destined.
The study ends with a series of conclusions and recommendations on topics such as biomass, bioproducts, markets such as biorefinery design and business collaborations, elements necessary to achieve the viability of this type of business model.
